There is a LA UG meeting this Wednesday at Microsoft's downtown LA office.  I am in town and will finally be able to make the drive.  Of course it will be easier to drive carpool, so if anyone from OCWMUG is interested in going with me, I will be leaving from Irvine area (near Jamboree and Michelson) around 5pm.
